Add a recipe

Paste the link to a recipe page. The ingredients and steps get pulled in and standardized so you can scale them later.

What happens on import

Structured recipe data (schema.org) is read first — that’s what most recipe sites publish, and it’s the most reliable.
Each ingredient line is split into amount, unit, and item, so “1½ cups flour” can become “2¼ cups” at 1.5×.
The recipe is filed under a course (Dessert, Main Dish, …) automatically. You can change it from the edit screen.
Photos come from the source page, so tiles have a picture without you doing anything.

Photo import (snap a cookbook page) is planned for v2 — this version handles URLs.
